Travis Berryhill Racing Heads to Tulsa

Yes it is that time of year for the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma. The Spirit of American Canyon, Travis Berryhill, is making final adjustments to his #11z Stealth/LJ’s Speed and Machine Gaerte Chevy midget race car before it is shipped to down to Tulsa on January 3, 2008.
This trip will be the third time TBR has participated in the prestigious national event. Travis will fly down on January 6th and meet the car, which is being transported by Doug Bock, of Angwin. The rest of the team will be arriving on the 9th to put on a good representation of American Canyon.
Travis will be competing in heat races and qualifying mains on Friday night the 11th, and the final main events on the 12th. Live, for the first time ever, the Sat night events will be broadcast LIVE on HBO pay per view. It will be the best seat in the house. Get a party together and watch the biggest midget race of the season. Currently 281 cars from around the world are registered to race, a true IROC – International Race of Champions. Racers from all venues such as NASCAR, the World of Outlaws, Indy, USAC, and NHRA are entered.
To keep on top of all the action tune into www.racinboys.com as they will again provide FREE live Internet coverage of the world's largest indoor racing event. With the week-long coverage beginning with the Tuesday afternoon practice session, followed by the first of four nights of preliminary action Tuesday-Friday before turning Saturday night over to HBO. Last year’s internet broadcast garnered over 41,000 listeners from 22 countries. It will be a wild week of exciting racing, so put it on your calendar to tune in.
